Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the ClearAsk AI web service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
ClearAsk AI supports everyday writing, summaries, translation, explanations, and ideas. AI responses are not guaranteed to match the performance of GPT, Claude, or any other service. Do not use an AI response as the only basis for an important decision.
1. Access and accounts
Free access is limited to the allowance shown in the Service and does not require an invite code. If you use Google or email sign-in, provide accurate information and protect your authentication details. Lending, sharing, selling, or impersonating another person’s account is prohibited.
2. ClearAsk Plus
- ClearAsk Plus starts with a 14-day free trial for eligible first-time customers and then renews at US$4.90 per month. Eligibility, billing date, taxes, and final payment conditions are determined by the Stripe Checkout screen shown before purchase.
- A payment method must be added in Stripe Checkout to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first charge is made under the displayed conditions.
- Change payment details, review billing information, and cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal. Access may continue through the paid or trial period already started.
- The plan is designed for normal personal use. Automation, bulk sending, resale, and account sharing are not supported. Rate limits, output limits, and fair-use controls may apply for safety and reliability.
3. AI responses
AI may produce inaccurate, outdated, biased, or incomplete responses. The Service does not replace professional judgment in medical, legal, financial, employment, safety, or emergency matters. Check important information against primary sources or qualified professionals, and do not enter confidential information, credentials, or another person’s personal information.
4. Prohibited use
Do not use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights, for fraud, abuse, harassment, malware, unauthorized access, excessive automated traffic, service interference, unreviewed bulk distribution of output, or use of another person’s credentials. We may limit or suspend access when necessary for safety or due to a violation.
5. Input and output
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for text you submit. You are responsible for your input and any output you review and use. We do not guarantee accuracy, originality, fitness for a particular purpose, or that output will not affect third-party rights.
6. External services and availability
The Service depends on external services including Clerk, Stripe, Cloudflare, and AI providers. Features may be limited without notice because of an outage, maintenance, capacity, or a change in law or policy. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, uninterrupted responses, or that input or browser history will never be lost.
7. Price, refunds, and changes
Pricing, trials, billing, taxes, and refunds follow the conditions shown in Stripe Checkout and the Customer Portal, together with applicable law. If we change these Terms, pricing, or features, we will communicate the change and its effective date on this page or through the Service.
